Certified Professional Coder

This position will assist the physicians with their surgical coding and timely billing.  The CPC will monitor the accuracy of coding, submission and documentation of each surgery.  The CPC coder will interact regularly with physicians and A/R staff.

Requirements:

• Certified Professional Coder
• Orthopaedic Billing Experience for a minimum of 2 years
• NextGen Practice Management System Preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be highly organized and detail oriented with strong ability to follow up and follow through on open items.
• Must possess a strong sense of urgency and thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
• Great phone etiquette skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Must have professional references
• Professional Appearance and Positive Attitude
• Team Player
