Words could never express my sincere gratitue for your healing touch. From my first cortisone shot, I knew your kindness and great skill. Thank you so much for repairing my hand and bringing me back to work as a dental hygienist. You’re the best!

I am writing to express my gratitude for the superior care I received from you, Bo, Betsy and Carol. I was given straightforward information about my care before and after my surgery. The care I received enabled me to make it to the next level of my life. I appreciate all that was done. I am pain free in my right leg and my back is still in the healing process without any other complications. I’m doing well and back to work. Thanks to each of you for such great care!

Patient of Physical Therapy, Palm Beach Gardens September 23, 2010 at 12:29 pm

I received physical therapy from Dave Bailey at your Palm Beach Gardens facility twice a week for the month of July after having knee surgery at the end of June. There is no doubt in my mind, as I told my surgeon, that my steady progress in rehabilitation is due largely in fact to Dave. Although he is always pleasant and encouraging, he is also firm and very professional. He is extremely knowledgeable and exudes a great calmness and sense of authority that makes you tend to trust him immediately. Dave is the best representative/ spokesperson PBOI could
ever ask for.
Over the years I have done physical therapy at two different facilities in Palm Beach Gardens, as well as in Long Island, and although former
New Yorkers love to say that “everything is better in New York,” there is no comparison between these places and Palm Beach Orthopaedic
Institute. Not only is it neat and clean, but there is an air of friendliness that begins when you are greeted by Donna, who is extremely pleasant
and efficient, at the front desk and then continues into the PT room.
You can be assured that I will refer all of my friends to PBOI. If my husband or I ever require PT, we will back.

Patient of Dr. Estes and Physical Therapy, Jupiter September 23, 2010 at 12:31 pm

I just went through several weeks of physical therapy with your Jupiter office. I saw Dr. Estes whom I found to be an excellent doctor. She recommended your Jupiter branch for physical therapy. I had the pleasure of working with Susan Eble. She was AWESOME for lack of a better description. The entire staff at that location was excellent, but Susan was really outstanding.
I have had physical therapy off and on for the past 20 years for my lower back at many different companies throughout the state. I can say without reservation that Susan was the best I have worked with. I learned quite a bit about my condition and exercises that really help (all of which I can do at home). I also had the pleasure of receiving massages and ultra sound treatments and guidance from Jackie. She has “hands of gold” and was a godsend early on in my therapy.
I really can’t say enough good things about this office. Because of my work schedule, Susan and Jackie rearranged their schedules to help me meet my work demands and made sure I got treatment. Great job!!! I will not hesitate to recommend your company to friends and family.

When my shoulder needed surgery, I was fortunate enough to find Dr. Wexler. He knew immediately what needed to be done, and, with my consent, the PBOI staff set about making it happen in the most organized, efficient manner possible. They processed the necessary paperwork for my employer quickly, coordinated the necessities of having the surgery, and followed up post-op in a manner that made everything easy for me. I’m certain that it was Dr. Wexler’s skill as a surgeon that had me out of work for only 4 days and back to an almost normal activity level within 6-8 wks. It was the very first surgery I’ve ever had and I cannot thank everyone enough for making it as successful as possible!

Dr Simovitch is one of the most caring physicians and I have had a couple of shoulder surgeries that
have kept me functional. Aside from his expertise, he was there to give me support when I needed
that extra encouragement. The total reverse shoulder replacement made function without constant pain
possible. I would encourage anyone with a shoulder problem to see him.

I was very pleased with the results of my total hip replacement surgery performed by Dr. Michael Leighton in early April 2011. I used to be a long distance runner, but, as I got older, had resort to walking only due to pain and discomfort.

Now, at the age of 72, the pain in my left hip got so severe that it prevented me from walking at all. The cartilage was almost completely gone, and I could only hobble about very slowly and painfully. The X-ray showed that my hip joint was virtually bone-on-bone. The doctor suggested total hip replacement surgery. I asked a lot of questions and all were answered patiently and completely. It has now been 11 weeks since the operation, and I am presently completely pain-free, capable of walking normally once again.

Two weeks ago, I gradually started to exercise, and now three weeks later, I am able to walk 3 miles every morning, swim vigorously for a half-hour, and ride my bicycle 5 miles every evening — that’s including running up and down the stairs of my 3-story townhouse. It’s hard to imagine that only 3 months ago, I could barely walk to the mailbox.

I followed all the doctor’s instructions and did my therapy exercises religiously. I am happy to report that I have no regrets for having gone ahead with this surgery, and that Dr. Leighton is a skillful surgeon who knows what he’s doing. I am grateful to him for having restored me to good health and fitness.
