Patients - Surgery Information
The guidelines listed here are for general information purposes. Please speak with your physician prior to your pre-operative or post-operative care.
Pre-operative Patient Information:
- No eating or drinking after midnight the night prior to your procedure.
- Discontinue all blood thinning and aspirin products 7- 10 days prior to surgery.
- All herbal agents must be discontinued 2 weeks prior to surgery.
- If donating blood, you may donate 1 unit per week, blood is donated at Florida’s Blood Centers.
