Patients

Our Standards and Policies have been established to ensure we provide our patients with the best possible service.

Appointment Scheduling

All appointments should be scheduled in advance with the physician of your choice, by calling the office at 561-694-7776.

Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

In the event that you can not keep your appointment, we ask that you cancel it at least 24 hours in advance, so that the time may be used for another patient. After 5:00 PM, our answering service is available at the same number to assist you with any emergent problems. A PBOI physician is always on call for emergency situations.

If you have previously seen other, outside physicians for your problem, please bring any available medical records, x-rays, other test rests, and a list of all medications you are currently taking for your appointment. This will greatly aid in the accurate evaluation of your problem and may save unnecessary, further testing or x-rays, as well as any unnecessary delays in obtaining old records or x-rays.

Medical Records

PBOI considers all patient records to be confidential, and will release copies of these medical records only with the patient's written approval. A patient's original x-rays remain part of the permanent medical record. Copies of x-rays may be produced for a nominal fee to cover the cost of new x-ray film.

Telephone Calls

If you need to speak directly with someone on your physician's staff, please call our main number and ask to be connected with that physician's office. Most of the doctor's assistants will be available to help you or take your message, but return calls are usually made during the next available break or at the end of office hours.
