G. Clay Baynham, MDOrthopaedic Surgeon Subspecializing in Spinal Surgery Successful treatment of spinal problems is dependent on being able to address the specific needs of each patient. Typically, this requires experience with a broad range of surgical techniques and the availability of complex state-of-the-art technology. Following completion of his orthopaedic residency, Dr. Baynham completed fellowships in adult and pediatric spine surgery at the Lakewood Orthopaedic Clinic in Denver, Colorado; and reconstructive spine surgery at the Kerlan-Jobe Clinic in Los Angeles, California. "Abnormalities of the spine not only produce neck and low back pain, but are frequently responsible for upper and lower extremity pain, weakness and sensory loss. These abnormalities may be the result of congenital deformity, degeneration, injury, tumor or infection." Dr. Baynham's practice focuses on treatment of adult and pediatric spinal problems utilizing the most current microsurgical, laser, laparoscopic and spinal instrumentation techniques. Dr. Baynham has served as spinal consultant to Children's Medical Services (CMS) and presently, the Palm Beach County Trauma District. Dr. Baynham is a diplomat of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and a member of the North American Spine Society. He is actively involved in several clinical investigation projects.
