Dr. Vincent A. Fowble, a native of Greenville, Ohio, has been practicing orthopaedic medicine in Palm Beach County since March of 2005 following the completion of his fellowship training for Joint Replacement and Adult Reconstruction at the Joint Replacement Institute Orthopaedic Hospital in Los Angeles, California. This was his second fellowship at this nationally renowned orthopaedic institution as he spent two years there beginning in 1994 for a Clinical & Research fellowship for Joint Replacement & Adult Reconstruction and became Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery in September 2008. Dr. Fowble began his academic pursuits at the University of California, Los Angeles, earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology, achieving a place on the Dean’s List as well as the Golden Key National Honor Society. After graduating with his Doctor of Medicine degree from Finch UHS/The Chicago Medical School, Dr. Fowble returned to California for his surgical internship at Harbor UCLA Medical Center. He then spent four years as the House Physician for the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York and four years in residency in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. He is a Resident Member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons as well as a member of the American Medical Association, Diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners and holds medical licenses in Florida, New York and California. Dr. Fowble’s contributions to published academic volumes vary from the importance of imaging in orthopaedic diagnosis to ACL injuries to his specialty of total joint replacement and total revisions of the hip. Additionally, he has made over a dozen presentations at national and international meetings of a variety of orthopaedic societies and organizations since 1995. Dr. Fowble quickly established a reputation in Palm Beach County as a specialist in the area of joint replacement and the revision and repair of aged joint replacements. In his practice, he has availed himself to patients in all three of PBOI’s locations – Jupiter, West Palm Beach and Palm Beach Gardens. The rapport he has with his patients is developed from engaging the patient in a partnership that leads the patient to recovery and an improved lifestyle.
